Huge thanks to Chrissie as she leaves Perú

This week saw long-term project manager Chrissie hand over to Carla in Perú and start a well-earned rest after 3 years working on Phoenix projects. I would like to say, on behalf of everyone, thank-you Chrissie, for all your hard work, dedication and love for the projects, not just in Perú, though in Ecuador and Guatemala aswell.

Chrissie and Daz's paintings are also now all over Phoenix projects in Latin America, although they missed Honduras, so need to come back for that.

I'll leave this with some words Chrissie wrote, though once again, thanks mate, and we will definately see you again on Phoenix and continue working together in the future.

"It's been a truly amazing time working on the Phoenix projects since October 2005. I've learnt so much about different cultures and seen the real effect of the work that the Phoenix projects achieve. I've made some amazing friends, helped some amazing people, guided volunteers to put the best they can into the projects and really gained a broader understanding of how real, on the ground, constant, longterm, sustainable decisions can make a difference to those we are helping."

How does GVI Phoenix make a difference?
