CONGRATULATIONS to all the Challengers on our first six Charity Challenges of 2011, biking from Guatemala to Honduras, the inaugural Nicaragua Volcano Challenge, Brazil's Chapada Diamantina Challenge , Guatemala's first Caribbean Kayak Challenge, Perú´s Cerani Pass and Ecuador's Volcano Challenge. Nicaragua's second volcano Challenge is set for 3rd-6th November and the third Guatemala Volcano Challenge dates are set for 27th November -2nd December.

Father’s Day at San Rafael - Honduras


Father’s Day in Honduras is celebrated on March 19; so on Thursday the community of San Rafael hosted a Father’s Day celebration! Fathers from the communities of San Rafael and Barbasco came to enjoy the festivities. Numerous poems were read, 3 skits were preformed, and the 9th grade colegio students sang a beautiful song.

Then, the fathers got to show off their piñata hitting skills! Some of them had very unusual techniques that made everyone laugh, but finally the piñata broke and they all raced to get the candy. The afternoon ended with cake followed by a quick football game between the dads and the colegio boys. It was a great party and way to thank the fathers. Happy Father’s Day!
