Best moment of 2010 - Phoenix Ecuador - Plan Cuy
A major highlight with Phoenix Ecuador out of many has to be the successful launch of our new sustainable High School funding initiative, Plan Cuy. We have branched out from Plan Moo, where we buy a cow for a child and they then use the milk money to buy their high school supplies, into guinea pigs! 
We build the little critters a home and then pop a starter kit in and wait for what comes naturally – and every 3 or 4 months, the child can sell the offspring and save the money to use for the ever growing costs of attending high school. And how is this possible?– through the donations from volunteers, family and friends. Thanks to everyone who has so generously supported the children here in the communities in Ecuador!
