Afternoon school and new local staff in Nicaragua
The GVI Phoenix project is expanding all the time. Recently we have started giving drop in classes in the afternoons for children who attend state schools in the morning. It provides an opportunity for the kids to receive help with their homework and be given one on one attention. For other kids, ours is the only school they attend in the mornings.
Furthermore GVI would like to thank Yessenia, a local Nicaraguan teacher who has recently joined the GVI staff. It’s been a great help having a qualified teacher as part of the team in the school! We even made her pin the tail on the donkey during our last birthday celebrations!
