CONGRATULATIONS to all the Challengers on our first six Charity Challenges of 2011, biking from Guatemala to Honduras, the inaugural Nicaragua Volcano Challenge, Brazil's Chapada Diamantina Challenge , Guatemala's first Caribbean Kayak Challenge, Perú´s Cerani Pass and Ecuador's Volcano Challenge. Nicaragua's second volcano Challenge is set for 3rd-6th November and the third Guatemala Volcano Challenge dates are set for 27th November -2nd December.

Story-time at Muenala, Ecuador


So Chris Dales, one of our Central and South American comboers decided he wanted to create a reading corner for his class during his time with us here at Muenala. Chris works with the youngest of our charges – they are still too young for official school, but are eager learners all the same.

Chris let his creative and DIY skills run wild…and now we have a cave in the corner of the classroom. Each afternoon, peace and quiet reigns as Chris reads stories with his class in the cave.
