CONGRATULATIONS to all the Challengers on our first six Charity Challenges of 2011, biking from Guatemala to Honduras, the inaugural Nicaragua Volcano Challenge, Brazil's Chapada Diamantina Challenge , Guatemala's first Caribbean Kayak Challenge, Perú´s Cerani Pass and Ecuador's Volcano Challenge. Nicaragua's second volcano Challenge is set for 3rd-6th November and the third Guatemala Volcano Challenge dates are set for 27th November -2nd December.

Footie finals for the Phoenix teams in Ecuador


With Muenala unable to reach the finals, the Larcacunga teams stormed through two matches a piece. First up against the Larc boys played Urcusiqui. Rumiñahui scored his first goal with a sly spin of the goal post. This then lead to a hat-trick with additional goals courtesy of Bryans head following a strong set up from the goalie Alvaro. Final score 7-1 to Larc!

The Larcacunga girls team however topped the day, playing a strong defense against Urcusiqui and winning their final match 2-0 thanks to Rosa’s marathon sprint and keen boot. Overall the girls won 3 matches, drew 1 and lost 1 - earning them 3rd place and a whopper of a trophy - Yuupiiiiii go for it girls!
