The annual inter-schools football competition - Ecuador

Muenala faced Urcusiqui in an action-packed first match, putting into practise all the tips that Coach Michelle has been teaching them. It finished 4-4, with captain Inti scoring all four Muenela goals.

Huayrapungo, despite captain José Luis scoring from the half way line, lost their first match 5-2. With Coach Jaime barking the orders, they played well against Urcusiqui, though still went down 2-1.

Meanwhile, over at Perugachi, the Larcacunga girls played their 1st two matches, drawing 0-0 with Yambiro, and then unfortunately lost 3-1 against Tangalí. The boys showed a lot of skill and teamwork to manage to win their match 2-0 against Perugachi. Stay tuned - there are two more Fridays of football to come!
